How do I place my classified listing?
You can place a FREE 60 days classified listings by simply following the step-by-step process.

Click on the 'Post Free Classified' link located on the top right of the page or 'Post Ad' link in the Main Menu.
Select the region then the category you would like your listing to feature in.
Fill in the main listing form.
Add a web link and/or upload images (max 200Kb; 250x250 pixels)
Decide if you would like your email address to be visible or not.
jeanza.com requires an email address, as we send you a link for each listing that enables you to modify, delete or extend your listing at a later date.
Type in Security Code. Verification is used to prevent unwanted email (spam).
Select Featured Ad if you want to place your ad in top-most in each category and in Home Page and are shown highlighted. Click here for more details.
Select Extended Ad if you want to have your ad running longer.
Review our Terms of Use then 'I agree' if you agree. When you all done, click Post Now.
You'll then be sent a validation email, click on the link in that email, then your listing will be published on the jeanza.com site for all to see. Best to keep this email as it allows you to modify, delete and extend your listing before the expiry date.
Back to step 1, only needed if you have more listing.

How do I edit or delete my listing?
It's all about validation email we talked about and how you should keep it!

Locate that email jeanza.com sent you in your mail application. Select Edit option and edit your listing or delete if you don't need it any more. If you can't find it then email us, using the 'lost validation link' option in the subject line. We're happy to help but remember this process is a manual.

Why was my listing deleted?

There are a couple of reasons. Your listing expired, listings last 60 days. Your listing has been flagged off the jeanza.com used the 'Report Abuse' link enough times and determined to be outside our 'Terms of Use', and removed by one of our team. Or you deleted it yourself!

How many listings I can have?

You may post as many listings as you wish; as long as they are relevant (and appropriate) to the categories and there are no repeat listings.

My listing has moved from the category.

Your listing may have been moved to a more appropriate category.

Haven't received any validation email, what does that mean?

We are dealing with technology and sometime stuff happens. Here are a couple of things to consider. Did you provide the correct email address? Have you checked the correct email account? Are you using a free email account (i.e Hotmail, Yahoo, Gmail etc), make sure you have not exceeded your mailbox storage limit. Check your spam folder, sometimes they hide out in there. Sometimes providers implement 'spam filters' that maybe badly configured or designed, resulting in email interception. If you really stuck then email us, with 'lost validation link' in the subject line.

How do I reply to a listing?

The person who has listed the classified may have added phone numbers or a web link to the description. At the right hand side of the listing there maybe a 'Contact this user' form. Fill out the form and 'Send'.

Can you provide with details of other users?

No, we can't do that; we highly respect the privacy of all jeanza.com users. Please visit our Privacy Policy, this explains how your information is protected, collected and used by jeanza.com.

Using the Search function?

Simply type in your keyword, select a category you wish to search under and then click 'Go'. To narrow your search to a particular city or region, select the area from the right-hand column and then complete your search.

I can not find my listing what I did wrong?

Your listing will take a few moments to appear after your validation via the email we send you. You may also need to refresh/reload the page.

How can I include a picture in the listing?

Select 'Choose File' under the image options. Search your way through your computer's directory and select the picture file you want to include. Then OK. Repeat to add further pictures, maximum of four (max 200Kb; 250x250 pixels).

How Flagging system is implemented and why?

Flagging systems is here to empower our users, to identify inappropriate listings for speedy removal much more effectively than our team could ever do. While jeanza.com preserves everyone's right to unfettered free speech within the law, you can take action if you feel a listing is inappropriate (miscategorized, prohibited, spam etc). Please flag with care; misuse of this system will NOT be tolerated. If a listing receives enough negative flags it will automatically be removed, with an explanatory note sent to the user. Only one flag per person per post is counted.

How can I post anonymously and still receive responses?

When submitting your listing, you are asked to provide your email address. We provide three options for you. Your email address appears in your posting just as you typed it. Your email isn't shown, as its not required for the listing and viewers cannot send you email. We anonymize your email address, and then relay responses to your actual email address via our system. This way your email address is NOT published.

AVOIDING SCAMS

Avoiding scams and fraud on jeanza.com:

DEAL LOCALLY WITH FOLKS YOU CAN MEET IN PERSON - follow this one simple rule and you will avoid 99% of the scam attempts on jeanza.
NEVER WIRE FUNDS VIA WESTERN UNION, MONEYGRAM or any other wire service - anyone who asks you to do so is a scammer.
FAKE CASHIER CHECKS & MONEY ORDERS ARE COMMON, and BANKS WILL CASH THEM AND THEN HOLD YOU RESPONSIBLE when the fake is discovered weeks later.
JEANZA IS NOT INVOLVED IN ANY TRANSACTION and does not handle payments, guarantee transactions, provide escrow services, or offer "buyer protection" or "seller certification"
NEVER GIVE OUT FINANCIAL INFORMATION (bank account number, eBay/PayPal info, etc.)
AVOID DEALS INVOLVING SHIPPING OR ESCROW SERVICES and know that ONLY A SCAMMER WILL "GUARANTEE" YOUR TRANSACTION.
